PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel electrolytic capacitor having excellent various properties.SOLUTION: An electrolytic capacitor 11 includes a capacitor element 1 formed by winding an anode foil 2 and a cathode foil 3, having a dielectric layer formed on the surface, with a separator 4 interposed therebetween, and an electrolyte in contact with the dielectric layer and the cathode foil 3. The electrolyte contains a vinyl alcohol-based polymer, and an organic boron compound having three or more partial structure represented by formula (I) in a molecule. In the formula (I), m is 0 or 1, n is an integer of 1-3, and Rand Rare a hydrogen atom or a substitutable alkyl radical independently, and can be coupled to each other. |
