PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent X-ray analyzer in which accurate analysis can be performed promptly in analysis using a specimen vessel from which a liquid specimen overflows.SOLUTION: A fluorescent X-ray analyzer comprises a specimen vessel 5 in which a liquid specimen S injected from a lower side overflows from an upper end 51 and a horizontal cross section of a space therein becomes wider from predetermined depth towards an upper side, specimen injection means 7 which injects the liquid specimen S into the specimen vessel 5, an X-ray source 1 which irradiates a top face of the liquid specimen S injected into the specimen vessel 5 with primary X-rays 2, detection means 4 which detects secondary X-rays 3 generated from the liquid specimen S, and control means 8 which controls the specimen injection means 7, the X-ray source 1 and the detection means 4 to start measurement by stopping the injection if the liquid specimen S injected to the specimen vessel 5 overflows from the specimen vessel 5. |
