PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder and a method each of which can surely determine an inner condition of a recording head.SOLUTION: A recording head is provided with a chip 52 having an ejection hole formed thereon and causes ink to flow in one direction A1 through an ink chamber formed at a back side of the chip 52 during a recording operation. Ink is ejected from the recording head while causing the ink to flow in the other direction A2. A temperature of the chip 52 at that time is detected by a temperature sensor 58, and then an inner condition of the recording head is determined based on the temperature. |
