PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferritic stainless steel excellent in corrosion resistance at a welded portion even when Ar shielding gas is omitted during TIG welding.SOLUTION: A ferritic stainless steel includes, by mass, ≤0.020% C, ≤0.025% N, 0.05 to 0.25% Si, 0.30 to 1.5% Mn, ≤0.035% P, ≤0.01% S, 18 to 25% Cr, 0.3 to 3.0% Mo, 0.005 to 0.15% Al, 0.05 to 0.25% Ti, 0.15 to 0.5% Nb, and the balance of Fe with inevitable impurities, while a component composition satisfies formula (A): (Si+2.5Al+3Ti)/Mn≤2.0. |
