PURPOSE: A door latch device is provided to improve the operability as a door latch protrusion is inserted so that a cam unit selectively fixing the door latch protrusion is moved from left to right and a door latch is locked or unlocked. CONSTITUTION: A door latch device comprises a body unit, a cam unit (30), an elastic member, and a moving groove. The body unit includes a predetermined space in the inside and an entering/exiting hole in which a door latch protrusion enters/exits. The cam unit is formed inside the body unit and selectively fixes the door latch protrusion by being moved as the door latch protrusion is inserted. The elastic member is installed at both sides of the cam unit and restores the cam unit moved by the insertion of the door latch protrusion. The moving groove is formed on one surface of the cam unit in order for the door latch protrusion to be moved. The cam unit is moved from left to right according to moving directions of the door latch protrusion and returns to the initial position by the elastic member when the door latch protrusion is separated from the cam unit. |
