PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which can provide an image improved in both water resistance and solvent resistance and further improved in glossiness, is suitably used for image formation using an inkjet method, and has excellent maintenance property of an inkjet head.SOLUTION: An ink composition contains: (a) a polymer compound and (b) water. The polymer compound includes: a repeating unit (a-1) having a partial structure represented by general formula (1); 8-25 mass%, relative to the whole mass of the polymer compound, of a repeating unit (a-2) having hydrophilic group; and a repeating unit (a-3) having a partial structure represented by general formula (2), and has a solubility parameter in an unneutralized state of 20.7-23.0 MPa. |
