PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus capable of surely acquiring image correction data in accordance with a characteristic in image recording, and a program for creating image correction data.SOLUTION: An image recording apparatus includes an image recording unit, a print processing unit, a first detector, a second detector, and a creation unit. The image recording unit prints an image on a recording medium. The print processing unit prints a chart having a reference region of uniform density, and a gradation region changed in density on the recording medium by the image recording unit. The first detector detects the reference region in read image data obtained by reading the image of the recording medium having the chart printed by the print processing unit. The second detector detects the gradation region in the read image data based on the position of the reference region detected by the first detector. The creation unit creates image correcting data for creating image data to be printed by the image recording unit from the image data in the gradation region in the read image data detected by the second detector. |
