PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition for a container which is excellent in environmental stress-cracking resistance and impact resistance, can be molded in a thinner thickness and lighter weight, moreover, has a quick crystallization speed and a superior high-speed moldability and permits high-cycling molding, and to provide a molded body comprising the polyethylene resin composition for the container.SOLUTION: A polyethylene resin composition for a container contains 10 to 40 wt.% of an ethylene type polymer (II) which is polymerized by using a metallocene type catalyst containing Ti, Zr or Hf with respect to 60 to 90 wt.% of a polyethylene (I), has a melt flow rate (HLMFR) at the temperature of 190°C and the load of 21.6 Kg, of 0.2g/10 min or more and less than 5g/10 min and a density of 0.915 to 0.945 g/cm, has a branched long-chain structure and satisfies any of the following characteristics (i) to (v). |
