PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant composition excellent in rust proof property for aluminum and cavitation resistance, and also excellent in the lubrication of mechanical seal of a coolant circulation pump.SOLUTION: A coolant composition using glycols as base materials, includes (a) 0.1 to 8 wt.% of an 8-18C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid or its alkali metal salt, (b) 0.1 to 10 wt.% of a 7-18C alkyl benzoic acid or its alkali metal salt, and (c) 0.1 to 5 wt.% of a 6-18C aliphatic monocarboxylic acid or its salt. |
