PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated warehouse for improving working efficiency in a stacker crane, and capable of reducing electric power required for lifting/lowering a lifting/lowering base in the stacker crane.SOLUTION: An automated warehouse includes a rack having a plurality of stages of shelves for placing a cargo thereon, a stacker crane 40 for warehousing and delivering the cargo to the rack by moving along the rack, and a control device for indicating movement to the stacker crane 40. The stacker crane 40 has two lifting/lowering bases 50a and 50b independently liftable/lowerable for carrying the cargo, and a lifting/lowering device 60 for performing driving for lifting/lowering the two lifting/lowering bases 50a and 50b based on an instruction from the control device. The lifting/lowering device 60 lifts the other lifting base out of the two lifting/lowering bases by using the electric power regenerated by a descent of the lifting/lowering base when one lifting/lowering base descends out of the two lifting/lowering bases 50a and 50b. |
