PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel capable of narrowing the width of a frame area in which a touch position formed at an outer peripheral edge part of a touch area cannot be detected by enabling the detection of a touch position to the closest peripheral edge of the touch area for performing a touch operation.SOLUTION: A panel body part 100b obtained by two-dimensionally arranging and connecting unit detection parts for detecting a touch operation so as to form a touch area 101 is provided. A plane pattern of the outermost peripheral unit detection parts (triangle pad part) 17 and 18 being a unit detection part located at the outermost peripheral of the touch area 101 in the panel body part 100b is different from a plane pattern of inner unit detection parts (diamond pad part) 15 and 16 being a unit detection part other than the outermost unit detection part in the panel body part, and the plurality of outermost peripheral unit detection parts (triangle pad part) 17 and 18 provided side by side along a lateral side of the touch area 101 are electrically connected in each lateral side.
