PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an occurrence of a streak along a sub-scanning direction, when a magnification in a main-scanning direction is corrected in exposure.SOLUTION: A light-emitting chip (odd-numbered light-emitting chip) C1 in which odd-numbered light-emitting points M60 to M65 are arranged in a main-scanning direction FS and a light-emitting chip (even-numbered light-emitting chip) C2 in which even-numbered light-emitting points N1 to M7 are arranged in the main-scanning direction FS are arranged, so that the odd-numbered light-emitting points M61 to M65 of the light-emitting chip C1 and the even-numbered light-emitting points N1 to N5 of the light-emitting chip C2 constitute a reduction-side overlapping part OLR where the odd-numbered light-emitting points M61 to M65 and the even-numbered light-emitting points N1 to N5 are overlapped when viewed in a sub-scanning direction SS. When reduction magnification correction in the main-scanning direction FS is performed, whether the odd-numbered light-emitting points M61 to M65 in the light-emitting chip C1 can emit light and whether the even-numbered light-emitting points N1 to N5 in the light-emitting chip C2 can emit light, are switched to each other for each one line in the sub-scanning direction SS. |
