PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical antivibration device having a novel structure and a method for manufacturing the same, capable of restricting the amount of displacement of both an inner shaft member and an outer cylindrical member on both sides in a direction perpendicular to an axis and an axial direction with the reduced number of components, and also capable of achieving easiness of control and conveyance.SOLUTION: Dividing parts 42 are provided successively over a whole axial length of an outer cylindrical member 18 to divide the outer cylindrical member 18 in a peripheral direction. The outer cylindrical member 18 is provided with a storage part 30 extending in an axial direction away from a part with a body rubber elastic body 20 fixed, and is formed with a storage recessed part 26 opened into an inner peripheral surface of the storage part 30. Further, a stopper member 14 fixed to an inner shaft member 16 is arranged in the storage recessed part 26. A stopper means in a direction perpendicular to an axis is composed by allowing the stopper member 14 to abut on a bottom wall part of the storage recessed part 26, and also a stopper means in the axial direction is composed by allowing the stopper member 14 to abut on an axial wall part of the storage recessed part 26. |
