PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver of a vehicle 1 to be clearly notified of another vehicle 21 behind the vehicle approaching the vehicle 1 when an image photographed by photographing means for photographing a rear lateral side of the vehicle 1 is displayed in display means.SOLUTION: In a device for photographing a rear lateral side of a vehicle, if at least a distance between a vehicle 1 and another vehicle 21 in a traveling direction is larger than a prescribed distance, display means superimposes and displays a mark 25 on a location of another vehicle 21 or in the proximity to it in a photographed image. When the distance is larger than the prescribed distance, while the mark 25 is reduced in size as the distance becomes long, a change rate of the size of the mark 25 to change in the distance is set larger than a change rate of the size of another vehicle 21 displayed in the display means to the change in the distance. |
