PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to turn on not only a display device but also a source apparatus if power supply ON operation is detected while reducing power consumption during standby of the display device and the source apparatus in the display device able to display video data received from the source apparatus by radio communication.SOLUTION: A display device 2 comprises a radio communication unit 24 for performing radio communication with a radio communication unit 32 of a source apparatus 3, and displays video data received wirelessly by the radio communication unit 24 from the source apparatus 3. The display device 2 comprises: a main processor 23 for performing control of the display device 2 including control of the radio communication unit 24; a radio communication unit 25 for performing radio communication with lower consumption power than the radio communication unit 24; and a sub processor 22 for detecting ON operation to turn on a power supply and for communicating power supply ON information to the radio communication unit 25. The radio communication unit 25 transmits a power supply ON signal to turn on the source apparatus 3 to a radio communication unit 33 of the source apparatus 3 triggered by the power supply ON information. |
