PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector having a heat radiation effect.SOLUTION: A base connector 10 is mounted on a printed board 1p, and a plug 20 at least having a pair of contacts 4a and 4b to which electric wires 21w and 21w for power supply are connected respectively is inserted into the base connector 10. The base connector 10 comprises: a housing 1 having an opening 11 to which a partner side housing 2 is fitted, and a hollow contact housing chamber 12 provided continuously to the opening 11; and a pair of first contacts 3a and 3b arranged in the housing 1, and electrically connecting between the contacts 4a and 4b and the printed board 1p. Each of the first contacts 3a and 3b comprises: a connection piece 31 connected to each contact 4a, 4b; and a heat radiation piece 32 inserted into the housing 1. Bottom faces of the connection piece 31 and the heat radiation piece 32 are bonded by solder to a heat radiation pattern 31h formed on one surface 11p of the printed board 1p. |
