PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silver-coated flake-like glass powder capable of forming a conductive paste with superior conductivity even when the amount of silver in use is reduced, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: Silver-coated flake-like glass powder is manufactured by immersing flake-like glass powder of 1 to 8 μm in mean particle size Dby a laser diffraction method and 3 or larger in aspect ratio in a tin ion-containing solution to make tin ions adhere to surfaces of the flake-like glass powder, immersing the flake-like glass powder in a silver ion-containing solution, adding a complexing agent or alkali and a reducing agent to the solution to coat surfaces of the flake-like glass powder with precipitated silver, and adding a surfactant to the solution to stick the surfactant consisting of one kind or more selected from the group of fatty acid, fatty acid salt, a surfactant, an organic metal compound, a chelate agent, and a polymer dispersant on surfaces of the flake-like glass powder coated with the silver. |
