PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use force of wind on the sea to increase a shake amount of a floating body.SOLUTION: A floating body for a gyro type wave-power device includes a sail 3 placed above a floating body 2, and a driving mechanism 4 for standing or lodging the sail 3. The driving mechanism 4 is adapted to stand the sail 3 only when the floating body 2 is shaken in the same direction as a wind direction, and lodge the sail 3 when the floating body 2 is shaken in a direction opposite to the wind direction, according to an inclined state of the floating body 2. Since the sail is stood only when the floating body moves in the same direction as the wind direction, wind force is effectively used to increase a shake amount of the floating body. When the floating body moves against the wind direction, the sail is lodged, and so air resistance received by the sail is minimized and a restoration motion of the floating body is not disturbed. Thereby, a power generation amount of the gyro type wave-power device is increased, and power generation efficiency is raised. |
