PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a print in which a synthetic image of a personal image with a background image suitable for a print use is printed.SOLUTION: A print generation device comprises: an imaging device 2 for imaging a person to be imaged to generate an imaged image; a storage unit 13 for storing a plurality of background images and a table prescribing the combination of print uses and the background images; an instruction reception unit 3 for receiving an instruction of a print use and a selection instruction of a background image; a selection unit 21 for referring to the table to extract a background image corresponding to the instructed use from the storage unit 13; an image processing unit 22 for cutting out a personal image from the imaged image and for synthesizing the selection instructed background image with the personal image to generate a synthetic image, and for generating from the synthetic image a print image and a preview image; a display unit 3 for displaying the background image, extracted by the selection unit, and the preview image; and a printer 5 for printing the print image to output a print. |
