PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device capable of surely transmitting predetermined torque.SOLUTION: Power transmitted to an outer ring 10 is transmitted to a first gear 12 and transmitted to a second gear 13 engaged with the first gear 12. In the first gear 12, teeth 12a are formed in so that a tooth trace becomes nonparallel to a center axis (o), and the direction of an axial force acting on the first gear 12 by reaction force of the second gear 13 is set to the same as the axially moving direction of the outer ring 10 in narrowing the interval of an input raceway surface 4a and an output raceway surface 10a. Accordingly, when a roller 8 is engaged with the input raceway surface 4a and the output raceway surface 10a and power is transmitted from the first gear 12 to the second gear 13, the axial movement of the outer ring 10 is promoted to narrow the interval of the input raceway surface 4a and the output raceway surface 10a by the reaction force. Axial drawing force of an inner ring 4 and the outer ring 10 can be increased, thereby surely transmitting predetermined torque. |
