PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect a preference of a user to control of an air-conditioning apparatus while eliminating the need for a remote control operation by the user.SOLUTION: A device control system 1 includes: a voice recognition device 3 for performing voice recognition; and a device control apparatus 4 for controlling an air-conditioning apparatus 7. In the device control apparatus 4, a storage unit 41 stores a correspondence table (a corresponding relationship) indicating a corresponding relationship between a first word indicating feeling of heat and cool and a control content for the air-conditioning apparatus 7, and a device control unit 43 controls the air-conditioning apparatus 7 according to the control content associated with the first word included in a recognition result inputted to an input unit 42, and when the device control unit 43 controls the air-conditioning apparatus 7 according to the control content and then a second word indicating excess and deficiency of the control according to the control content is inputted to the input unit 42, an update unit 44 updates the correspondence table stored in the storage unit 41 so that the excess and deficiency of the control according to the control content in the table is reduced. |
