PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motherboard and an embedded memory module inserted thereinto.SOLUTION: A memory module comprises a circuit board, a flash memory and a controller, where the flash memory and the controller are installed on the circuit board. The circuit board includes a signal-transmitting connector. A motherboard includes a microprocessor and a signal-transmitting socket. The embedded memory module is inserted into the socket of the motherboard by the signal-transmitting connector so as to transmit data conforming to eMMC transfer protocol specification. The controller and the flash memory not only can enhance the production yield and the heat dissipation effect of the embedded memory module, but also permit the memory capacity of the motherboard to be expanded readily. |
