PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve evacuation traveling upon occurrence of trouble of first and second motors, in a hybrid vehicle including an engine, and first and second motors connected to the engine through a power dividing mechanism.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes: an engine; a first motor; an output member for outputting power; a power dividing mechanism for respectively mechanically connecting three elements such as the output member, an output shaft of the engine and an output shaft of the first motor to one another, and using any one of the three elements as a reactive force element, and thereby allowing power to be transmitted between the other two elements; and a second motor connected to the output member. In the case where the engine is operated when trouble of the first and second motors is detected, an ECU stops power feeding to the first and second motors, executes multiphase on-control of an inverter for driving the first motor, and thereby generates dragging torque from the first motor. |
