PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface device that shortens a time from the reception of a pressing operation on an input section to the generation of a sound from a sound source section.SOLUTION: The interface device comprises: a display section MN for displaying an image; an input section CP for receiving a pressing operation; a sound source section BZ for generating a sound; a sub control section PU2 for outputting an electrical signal depending on the pressing operation on the input section CP; and a main control section PU1 for controlling the display section MN. While the main control section PU1 is in operation, the main control section PU1 directly controls the sound source section BZ. This results in a shorter time from a pressing operation on the input section CP to the generation of a sound from the sound source section BZ than when only the sub control section PU2 is connected to the sound source section BZ and the main control section PU1 controls the sound source section BZ via the sub control section PU2. |
