PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a degree of effect caused by corrosion gas even in the situation where a source of generation of the corrosion gas is not discovered.SOLUTION: A method for estimating corrosion executed by a computer comprises: calculating a degree of effect on corrosion of an object, for each of a plurality of areas surrounding the object on the basis of corrosion gas data and climate data respectively obtained at a plurality of different spots; calculating a cumulative value summing a plurality of degrees of effect calculated for the plurality of areas; and, based on the cumulative value, estimating a degree of corrosion of the object caused by corrosion gas. |
