PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RFID tag which is excellent in environmental resistance even in its long term use without generating any failure in data communication by stably maintaining an RFID inlet 3 in an erected and isolated state with respect to an article and a method for mounting the RFID tag.SOLUTION: A binding band is used for the mounting fixture of an RFID tag, and the RFID tag is butted in a width direction of a band main body of the binding band so that the RFID tag can be mounted. By considering that the RFID tag is configured so as to be erected from the surface of a metallic product and the other mounted product, a tag base material 2 is determined as a band mounting area 2A and an inlet storage area 2B. The band mounting area 2A is configured such that the longitudinal direction of each of a pair of through-holes (first through-hole 8A and second through-hole 8B) extends in a direction of the width of the band main body of the binding band, and the band mounting area 2A is configured so as to be bendable with a central bending part 2E positioned between the pair of through-holes 8A and 8B as a boundary. |
