MOLD TRANSFORMER WITH EARTHQUAKE-RESISTANT STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold transformer with superior earthquake resistance which prevents high-voltage charging portions from coming into contact with each other as a mold coil moves horizontally owing to earthquake shakes, and thereby falling of the mold coil or tumbling of the transformer is caused.SOLUTION: A mold transformer with an earthquake-resistant structure is constituted having a shake stopping silicone rubber provided to a projection of a coil support holding a mold coil while leaving no gap in an air layer between a primary coil and a secondary coil, and the coil supports are arranged at four places or more. Consequently, mold coils are prevented from approaching each other in spite of horizontal earthquake shakes and the air layer needed for electric insulation is secured to improve earthquake-resistant strength.
