PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an appropriate cell at each base station by appropriately controlling the cell radius of a base station which can be an interference source.SOLUTION: A radio communication system is comprised of a plurality of base stations 20 capable of inter-base communication and a mobile station 30 capable of radio connection to any of the base stations. A base station 20 stores cell information based on the installation situation of its own station. When the base station 20 detects deterioration in communication quality of radio communication with the mobile station 30 in communication, it requests positional information from the mobile station 30. The mobile station 30 obtains and transmits the positional information to the base station 20 when it is requested its positional information from the base station 20. The base station 20 adjusts its cell radius on the basis of the positional information of the mobile station and the cell information when it has obtained the positional information of the mobile station 30.
