PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide safety equipment for a passenger conveyor which is hardly broken when a passenger leans on or a collision occurs.SOLUTION: In safety equipment 13 installed at an intersection between a passenger conveyor and a structure 12 or an intersection between passenger conveyors, a cylindrical front edge body 13B is joined to a front edge of a main plate 13A of the safety equipment 13 by a joint part 13D. A non-joint part 13E is arranged so that an upper end of the joint part 13D is positioned lower than an upper end of a front edge body 13B, by which a distance L between a hole 13C at a fitting part of the safety equipment 13 fitted to the structure 12 and a rigid quick changing part 13F at an upper end of the joint part 13D is made longer, a reaction force R at a rapidly changing rigid part 13F is reduced, and the hardly-broken safety equipment 13 is obtained. |
