PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding tip whose replacement period can be easily determined.SOLUTION: A cap tip 41 used as a welding tip is used as a first welding tip and a second welding tip which is pressed across a base material 45 and supplied with electricity to perform resistance welding. A cooling waterway is provided to a lower end of the cap tip 41, and a hole 41e is formed penetrating between a tip portion of the cooling waterway and a tip portion of the cap tip 41 in a radial direction perpendicular to a long-axis direction of the cap tip 41. Consequently, when the hole 41e can be visually confirmed, it can be easily determined that the welding tip 41 needs to be replaced. |
