PURPOSE: A monitoring method and a device using VoIP telephone is provided to analyze data packet transceiving through a PC and a IPTV(Internet Protocol TV) by a VoIP, thereby monitoring information about currently connected site and a channel. CONSTITUTION: A user input unit(210) receives a user request and generates a monitoring-on signal. An Ethernet unit(220) receives a packet transmitted to an internet device which is connected to a shared according to the monitoring-on signal. A packet analyzer(230) analyzes the received packet, and extracts data included in the packet. A storage unit(240) stores the extracted data. A display unit(250) displays information included in the extracted data. The shared duplicates packet transmitted to the other internet device according to the monitoring-on signal, and transmits the packet to a VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) phone. |
