PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube storage system for drug discovery, capable of almost eliminating floating of a rack due to movement of the rack and eliminating the necessity of a plunger arranged in the vicinity of a conventional fixed type gripping part to push out the rack from the fixed type gripping part.SOLUTION: In a tube storage system 100 for drug discovery, a collar part 121 of a rack 120 is arranged so as to be projected from side faces 122 of the rack 120 to the side, and a rack grip releasing mechanism A (B) includes a pair of grip parts 140 (141, 142) arranged on both the sides of the rack 120 so as to be freely engaged with the collar part 121 and actuators 150 (151, 152) for moving the pair of grip parts 140 (141, 142) in an advancing/retreating direction to/from the collar part 121. |
