PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored curable composition capable of forming a colored cured film hardly causing reduction in brightness due to heating during a step and having high brightness; a color filter allowing display of an image with brightness and high contrast and a manufacturing method thereof; and a display device with good image quality.SOLUTION: The colored curable composition of the present invention is characterized by comprising an organic pigment, a dye comprising a mother skeleton different from the organic pigment and being adsorbed to the surface of the organic pigment, a copolymer comprising a repeating unit having a N-substituted maleimide group, and a polymerizable compound.
