PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse light generating device capable of generating pulse light having high contrast and any pulse duration of 10 ns or less.SOLUTION: A pulse light generating device includes a laser source which continuously emits laser beam, an electrooptic intensity modulation part which is disposed on a light path of the laser beam emitted from the laser source and modulates the intensity of the received laser beam, and an acoustooptic intensity modulation part which is disposed on a light path of pulse light emitted from the electrooptic intensity modulation part and improves the extinction ratio of the pulse light. |
