摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element of low drive voltage having excellent view angle characteristics, in which short circuit does not take place between a first electrode and a second electrode, even if a particle (foreign matter) or a protrusion exists on the first electrode.SOLUTION: The light-emitting element is constituted by laminating a first electrode 12, an organic layer 13 including a luminous layer 13a composed of an organic light-emitting material, a first resistive layer 14, a second resistive layer 15 composed of a material having an electrical resistivity lower than that of a material composing the first resistive layer 14, and a second electrode 16, sequentially on a substrate 11. One of the first electrode 12 and second electrode 16 reflects light from the luminous layer 13a, and the other transmits the light from the luminous layer 13a. Total thickness of the first resistive layer 14 and second resistive layer 15 is 1 μm or more.
