SMALL-SIZED TWO-SHAFT TYPE GROUND IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION MACHINE SUITABLE FOR CONSTRUCTION IN NARROW SPACE, AND GROUND IMPROVEMENT METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized two-shaft type ground improvement construction machine suitable for construction in a narrow space, and a ground improvement method using this construction machine.SOLUTION: Two drive units 10 comprises: a rotation drive section 7 having a shaft hole through which a drive shaft 6 is penetrated and equipped in a vertical direction; and a rotational power device 8 for rotating the rotation drive section 7. The driving units 10 are mounted at left and right sides to an elevating base 5 moving upward/downward along a guide rail 4 of a leader 3 supported at vertical attitude by self-propelled machine body 2. A ground improvement drilling blade 12 and an agitation blade 14 are mounted to a lower end of each drive shaft provided into the shaft hole of the rotation drive section, and two individual unit bases are equipped with the two drive units each constituted of the rotation drive section and the rotation power device, respectively. The two drive units are installed so that each unit base can move to or away from a guide part formed in a left and right direction on a mounting base mounted to the elevating base, and a shaft-to-shaft distance adjustment mechanism section which moves the unit base individually is provided between the mounting base and each unit base.
