<p>An arrangement for the treatment of food waste, and in particular for the treatment of food waste in industrial kitchens (both on land and at sea), restaurant kitchens, the foodstuffs industry, the retail grocery industry, and similar. The arrangement comprises a receiver (2, 3, 4) for the food waste, a mill (5) connected to the receiver in order to mill the food waste down to the intended maximum waste size, an eccentric screw pump (8) arranged after the mill (5) in order to pump the milled food waste via a transport line (12) to a food waste tank, in which the food waste can be stored while waiting for removal.</p> |
