The present invention relates to a method for isolating a biological target material from a biological sample, said method comprising binding said target material to a solid support, wherein impurities are selectively removed from the solid support by washing the latter with a wash buffer containing a cationic amine. The invention further provides a kit for isolating a biological target material from a biological sample, said kit comprising a wash buffer containing a cationic amine, and the use of a respective wash buffer. |
