The device (1) has a telescopic headlight washer (3) comprising a cover (4) to close an opening in which the headlight washer is housed in a retracted position. A light source (5) is integrated in the cover. The light source includes LEDs or Organic LEDs arranged to create a daytime running lamp, and is used as flashing light. The light source is arranged to supplement the headlight to assure side marker light function. Contacts of the light source are arranged on a rear face of the cover.
