Ludwigia grandiflora plant extract useful as an antibacterial agent against gram-negative bacteria, is claimed. ACTIVITY : Antibacterial; Fungicide; Immunosuppressive; Cytostatic; Gastrointestinal-Gen.; Antiinflammatory; Cardiant; Respiratory-Gen.; Antileprotic; Antianginal. The antibacterial activity of the Ludwigia grandiflora plant extract was tested against Bacillus megaterium in vitro The result showed that the extract exhibited antibacterial activity of 100%. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
