A transfer belt cleaning apparatus and an image forming apparatus having the same are provided to adjust pressure applied between plural photosensitive media and transfer belts, thereby enabling plural impurity collecting vessels to collect impurities uniformly and reducing the abrasion of the transfer belt. Plural photosensitive media(40) are installed within a main body(30). In the photosensitive media, an image of a predetermined color is developed. Plural developing units(50) are installed to be corresponded to each of the plural photosensitive media, and comprise a cleaning member(51) and an impurity collecting vessel(53). The cleaning member removes impurities remained on the surface of the photosensitive media. The impurity collecting vessel collects impurities removed by the cleaning member. A transfer unit(70) comprises plural transfer rollers(75) and a transfer belt(71). The transfer rollers are disposed to be corresponded to each of the photosensitive media, and elastically biased in a direction of the photosensitive media by an elastic member(79). The transfer belt guides transfer of a recording material(M) as moving between the photosensitive medium and the transfer roller. A lever member(81) is rotatably installed in the main body and supports the plural elastic member. The lever member applies predetermined pressure between the plural photosensitive media and the transfer roller by using the elastic members. A lever driving unit(85) rotatably drives the lever member, and differentiate pressure between the photosensitive media and the transfer roller facing each other according to each color. |
