BALLAST WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM, METHOD AND SHIP HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A ballast water processing system and a method thereof are provided to prevent bacterial contamination caused by a neutralizing agent and to remove an active material of ballast water. CONSTITUTION: A ballast water processing system(5) comprises a ballast tank(30); a sterilizer(20); and a neutralizer(10). The neutralizer neutralizes ballast water that is sterilized by the sterilizer and discharged from the ballast tank through a discharge path(50). The neutralizer comprises a neutralizing agent tank(100); a sterilizing unit(200); and a neutralizing agent pipe(300). The sterilizing unit irradiates microwave to the neutralizing agent. The neutralizing pipe connects the neutralizing agent tank and the discharge path.
