PURPOSE: A passenger protection system and a method thereof are provided to protect a passenger from taxi criminals by browsing the inner image and the driving date of a taxi to a predetermined user. CONSTITUTION: A passenger protection system comprises a taxi terminal(100) and a central server(200). The driving information of a taxi is generated by the driving data and the recorded inner image information of a taxi. The driving data is accumulated from the starting point to the stopping point of a taxi. The central server saves driving information by receiving the driving information from a vehicle terminal unit and certifies the connection of a user terminal appointed by a passenger. The center server supplies the driving data and the inner image information of a taxi to the user terminal(10).
