The installation box has a box body (1) made of plastic e.g. thermoplastic or a thermosetting polymer. The box body is formed with an equipment, a lining or a coating (2) and protects the installation box against nuclear radiation e.g. alpha, beta and/or gamma radiations. The box body is lined or coated with material, which shields the installation box against the nuclear radiation. The box body comprises a bottom (3), which is covered with highly effective radiation protection material. A metal part is applied on the bottom of the box body. The highly effective radiation protection material is plastic material filled with bismuth or tungsten or plastic material filled with barium sulfate or magnetite. |
