The boat has a bridge (1) and a hull (2) obtained by curing a layered thermoplastic resin matrix whose layers are interlayered with fiber tissue layers of carbon, aramid, carbon-aramid, and/or glass. A reinforcement element i.e. reinforcement beam (8), of the bridge is formed along a longitudinal axis of front and rear parts of the bridge. A reinforcement beam of the hull is formed along the longitudinal axis of front and rear parts of the hull. The beam of the bridge is firmly connected to the bridge, and the beam of the hull is firmly connected to the hull of the boat. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sports or pleasure boat.
