The device has wheels (2) connected to a frame of a vehicle (1). A controller (7) is connected to a speed sensor (5), and comprises a unit adapted to carry out frequential analysis of the sensor. A determination unit (9) determines variation speed of the vehicle. Another determination unit determines resonance frequency of each wheel according to the variation speed of the vehicle. The former determination unit comprises a calculation unit for calculating derivative of a signal transmitted by the sensor and an accelerometer. An independent claim is also included for a frequential analysis method for analyzing frequency of a speed sensor of a wheel of a car.
