<p>An apparatus for moving wire dispensing members used to wind dynamo electric machine coils comprising a frame; a first tubular member having a longitudinal axis assembled for longitudinal reciprocation parallel to said longitudinal axis; a second tubular member assembled for longitudinal reciprocation and rotational oscillation; means for generating the translational reciprocation motion of said first and second tubular members; means for generating rotational oscillation of said first and second tubular members; means for generating a relative rotational motion between the first and second tubular members for accomplishing a radial motion of the wire dispensing members; wherein the means for generating the translational reciprocation motion are assembled on a first shaft and the means for generating rotational oscillation are supported for the rotational oscillation with support means assembled on the frame, and the means for generating the rotational oscillation derive rotational motion from the first shaft through a transmission joint.</p> |
