Provided is a method for manufacturing a purified glyceride composition with low glycidol and glycidol fatty acid ester content. This method for manufacturing a purified glyceride composition includes a contacting step for causing a glyceride composition that has passed through a deodorizing step to come into contact with a phosphoric acid activated charcoal under contact conditions of either (1) 15 minutes or longer at a temperature from 110 to less than 120°C, or (2) 30 seconds or longer at a temperature from 120 to 150°C. In the aforementioned contacting step, the glyceride composition can be made to contact 0.1 mass% or more of phosphoric acid activated charcoal in relation to the amount of glyceride composition.
