PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing carbon black, into which a general production method can be easily switched by using a raw material handled with ease without depending on a new expansion of a facility or the like, and with which improvement of a yield is aimed at.SOLUTION: In a method for producing carbon black, an apparatus for producing carbon black consisting of a high temperature combustion gas generation zone, a reaction zone, and a reaction stopping zone is used, a mixture of benzene (Bz) and a straight chain unsaturated hydrocarbon (HC) is used as a raw material oil, and a mixing ratio of them is adjusted to satisfy an equation: [(an introduced amount of HC)×(the number of carbon atoms of HC)]/[(an introduced amount of Bz)×6 (the number of carbon atoms of Bz)]=0.12 to 0.30. |
