PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition for an internal combustion engine that can achieve antioxidation, a base value retention property, high temperature cleanability, caulking resistance and NOx resistance at high-level and by favorable balance.SOLUTION: A lubricant composition for an internal combustion engine includes: a lubricant base oil (A) in which an aromatic content is 10-50 mass%, and an NOACK evaporation mass is at most 10% by mass; 0.01-0.1 mass% of at least one phosphorus compound (B) chosen from a group consisting of an organophosphorus compound not containing sulfur, a metal salt thereof and an amine salt thereof, and a derivative thereof by 0.01-0.1 mass% as a phosphorus amount based on the total amount of the composition; and an organic molybdenum compound (C) by 0.005-0.1 mass% as a molybdenum amount based on the total amount of the composition. |
